Viva Las Vegas

We love hitting up Las Vegas a couple of times a year. We stuck to our usual game plan of golfing and gambling, plus a stop at Casa di Amore, our go-to restaurant off the strip. And what an amazing view of the Sphere’s ever-changing light show from The Venetian, where we stayed.

Valentine’s Day

Although I have long ago stopped buying into the hype of Valentine’s Day, I must admit that it is a good excuse to go out for a lovely dinner with the husband. There is a great little Italian restaurant down the road where we had a delicious meal, and we even splurged on dessert.

California Dreaming

Lucky me! I took another a trip to LA to hang out with my youngest and his beautiful family. Being a grandparent is seriously one of the coolest things ever, and I get how precious my time with them is.

Yin Yoga

I have taken up a yoga class, which I find incredibly fulfilling. Yin yoga is a style of yoga that focuses on deep, passive stretches held for extended periods, with the mindfulness and stillness of meditation. This class is so popular that it is always full, with a waitlist.
